Enjoy, not Endure. The secret to a happy life.

enjoy-not-endure

Do you know the difference between Enjoy and Endure? To enjoy, is to take delight, or pleasure in.To endure, is to suffer patiently, or remain in existence. Which of these describes how you live your life? I was really, deeply thinking about this the other day, and I honestly felt like most people go through their lives, enduring, rather than enjoying. You're enduring that financial struggle. Not enjoying the job that you're doing, and the people you're working with. You're enduring that sickness, rather than enjoying the days that you feel great. I think it's time that people stop enduring the struggles and start enjoying the journey. Enjoy the small moments, the blessings, the good news. I know life will never be full of only good things, but don't you feel that life would be a bit more enjoyable if we had a better attitude when things do go wrong? Wouldn't we appreciate the good things more? The way I look at it is like this: life is a gift. We all know that. It can be taken away in an instance. I've learned that more than ever in 2016. There was never a promise that it would be easy, but I believe each of us has the power to have the right attitude, if we really want to feel happiness and enjoyment in our lives.Make the changes in your life that you have control over, and stop stressing about the things you cannot change. I challenge you all to start enjoying, and stop enduring!Comment below, email me, or write me a letter, if that's your thing, what will you do to start enjoying you life more? Me, I plan to start noticing the little things more. And I plan to appreciate all the little blessings (and big ones, should they come).XO C
