3 Tips To Help You Be Prepared For The New Year!!

Happy 2017!YAY! I always feel a sense of excitement at the beginning of a new year. It's always so refreshing to have a new opportunity to implement new goals, systems, and an opportunity to chase your dreams. (Though, you do not have to wait until January 1 to begin. You can start whenever you want!) Although years are just numbers, I can honestly say 2016 has been considerably the worst of my life. I learned that nothing is forever. You must cherish even the smallest of moments, because life is too damn short. I learned to just go after the things you want. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable, because that's when the best things can happen. And though the new year doesn't mean everything resets, and we forget about everything that happened in 2016, it just means it's a new chance for things to happen, good or bad. I challenge you all to make 2017 the year you choose to EXECUTE. That is my word for the year. Choose to do the things you want to do, don't be afraid to get up off the couch, and take risks! I have decided over the past couple of weeks, that I am going to work hard to make 2017 the year my business grows. I took a lot of time to implement new systems, plan out for the next few months, and get my schedule in order. I'm excited for the things that are coming in the new year, and the amazing people that I have met, and will be working with in the future on certain projects.I wanted to help you all be able to feel prepared going into the new year as well, so I want to provide you with some tips to help you make that possible. So here they are:

  1. Get your planner out, and write down everything that is going on in the next 3 months. Make it fun, cute, and organized. Check out this lovely lady at The Strange and Charmed Shop who has so many FREEBIE planning tools, as well as inexpensive tools in her shop to help make your planner even more organized.

  2. Track everything! This will become super helpful at the end of the year, when you want to see how you have progressed. Set yourself up with a notebook, or some of the tracking resources at the link above, and get in the habit of tracking. If you're not sure what to track, try things like meals, expenses and purchases, and if you have a business, you can track blog posts, videos, social media stats, and more.

  3. Wake up earlier, and set a morning routine that will help you be more productive. Try to do as much as you can the night before. Set out your clothes. Set the coffee pot timer (if you're like me, this is important), and anything else that you find yourself rushing around in the morning to do.

  4. Read a book. There are so many books on my reading list, and I can't wait to begin. To name a few on my reading list, #Ask Gary Vee, The Miracle Morning, Growth Hacking, and a few others. I want to expand my knowledge and my mind, and reading is a great way to do that.

I hope these tips help you make the most of your year! Let me know what new systems you plan to put into place this year. May you all have a wonderful New Year! XO C
