5 Apps the Techy Bride/Groom Need

We all know that technology has come a long way, and planning a wedding can be EXTREMELY virtual. I've noticed a lot of millennial brides prefer it as much as possible. If you are one of those techy brides (or grooms, sorry guys) who is an app lover, then keep reading....There are lots of apps we love as planners that will help you stay organized during the planning process, and I am happy to share them.

First, GOOGLE DOCS/DRIVE. This is a LIFE SAVER. As a type A person, if you are the same way, you probably have your own planning doc started before you even hire a planner, or any vendors for that matter. This is a great way to share any forms, docs, planning sheets with your vendors that you have or will have during the planning process.

Second, Trello. This list building app is FAB. We use it alongside our other planners for every area of business. We track to-do’s for each client, have our workflows and systems laid out, and our editorial planner and calendar inside Trello. This tool is super handy and user friendly.

Third, The Knot planning app. This app is fun and easy to see your design elements for your wedding. You can create color palettes, save inspiration photos, and manage your checklist all from your phone.

Fourth, Aisle Planner. This one is computer based, but still a WIN. Every client of EBC gets access to this tool, which has everything you could need. From the checklist, timeline, to guest management and design creation, it even has a layout creator! We love Aisle Planner!

Fifth, and certainly not least, a photo sharing app. Guests will be taking photos, let’s be real. This allows them to upload those photos so you can see ALL of those special moments, and those that you may never want to see again (darn you tequila!). But you may be very thankful to see some of those captured moments you wish you had gotten that Aunt Sally didn’t miss!

I hope these give you some ease during your planning process. We are always here for you throughout, and happy to answer any questions to take even a smidgen of stress away. Happy Planning!
